Welcome to the Blue Ridge Suzuki Camp! We offer a concentrated week of music study and recreation for Suzuki students and their families in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley region. Now preparing for our 20th Anniversary year, the camp has developed a reputation for its outstanding faculty, community-oriented atmosphere, and beautiful location.

Enrollment is open to violin, viola, cello, bass, and guitar students at all levels who study with a Suzuki teacher, from ages three through adult. We also offer a limited number of piano openings for Suzuki and traditional piano students.  Students of all instruments who are in the upper Suzuki books or beyond the Suzuki repertoire have the option of auditioning for our more focused Advanced Chamber Music Program.  Students who are 12 and older may attend camp without parents, and stay in a supervised teen cottage.  Siblings and parents of Suzuki students may participate as well, through our many elective offerings.

In addition to daily music classes, students are given the opportunity to perform on a solo recital, and to participate in the camp evening activities and recreation. Facilities include a large outdoor pool, tennis courts, fishing pond, basketball court, miles of scenic hiking and biking trails, and much open space for children to play together.

Students of all ages and levels are able to to further their skills and love of music in a fun and supportive atmosphere.  Parents have the opportunity to learn and share ideas, and to enjoy special time with their children and other families. The week together provides motivation, learning, and enjoyment for all.
